There has been no time in recent memory as polarized and full of societal rancor as our own. For the past eight years, Revolution of Tenderness has been fostering dialogue and friendship and making a special point of encountering people who are neglected and ignored by the wider world. We have done this through a variety of public events, including the Festival of Friendship, an annual three-day cultural event in Pittsburgh that is now in its eighth edition. In 2020, Revolution of Tenderness seeks to expand its program offerings with additional events, including “For, With, By,” a weekend of exhibits and encounters specifically for, with, and by young people, a demographic perilously under-served and exploited by contemporary culture. We have been able to provide this extraordinary content to the public through the generosity of donors who desire to make an impact on contemporary culture (and not just complain about it), and show everyone how seeing with the eyes of Christ makes life richer, more beautiful, and free.
