Festival of Friendship 2020, a month-long series of encounters and arts programming provided free of charge and completely online, was a tremendous success, with nearly 1300 registrations for the month's events! Panelists and attendees from the U.S. and around the world followed the Holy Father's call to build "a culture of encounter" that includes everyone. One of the fruits of this year's Festival is a possible collaboration in 2021 with world-famous composer Richard Danielpour, who attended this year's event and graciously allowed one of his works to be performed by soprano Angel Riley and Festival of Friendship Music Director Lucy Yates.
